As a not for profit organisation, Corporate Social Responsibility lies at the heart of our business. We see it as an obvious extension of our role and we aim to embed responsible business practices into all of our processes.
Sanctuary’s CSR programme covers 4 core areas: our community, our environment, our partners and our people.
Our Community
We aim to support the communities in which we work. We do this by supporting local projects and initiatives, and working with communities to rebuild and regenerate neighbourhoods.
Our Environment
We aspire to be an environmentally aware business and try to minimise any negative impact of our operations on the environment. We aim to be sustainable in the development of new properties and our management of existing homes and services.
Our Partners
We like to work with organisations which have similar aims and objectives as we do. This includes all of the organisations we work with, including suppliers, government bodies, local authorities and many others.
Our People
We care about the people who work for us and aim to provide appropriate rewards, benefits and training so that we can attract and retain the best. We also try to create opportunities for employment within our business and ensure that we maintain a culture where diversity is promoted and embraced.
