Sanctuary was established in 1969. Since then it has grown into a successful provider of housing and associated services and together with its operating areas, now manages over 79,000 units of accommodation throughout England and Scotland, including general rented, sheltered, supported accommodation, student and key worker accommodation and care homes.
As a not for profit organisation, our income is used for maintaining our properties to high standards and updating and developing our services.
Sanctuary has also diversified into a number of commercial business streams, including the provision of high quality social care and facilities management services.
