Scrutiny Panels
To make sure that we deliver our local service offers in a timely and cost effective way, local residents' panels examine our progress and make sure we are accountable to all residents. These groups are known as 'scrutiny panels'. Panels meet four times a year and those taking part receive expenses and full training.

Regional Resident Action Groups “RAGs”
These are teams of involved residents that are actively involved in supporting the work of the regional scrutiny panels, gathering evidence of residents experiences across the Group and taking part in key management tasks. Activities they undertake include:
- Resident inspection of estates
- Tenant auditing
- Contractor selection and management
- Interviewing
- Mystery shopping
- Reviewing complaints
Anyone can be involved in a Resident Action Group so get in touch and we will put you in contact with your Local RAG.
Consultation Activities
We know that only a small proportion of our residents will want to be involved in formal methods of involvement. To ensure that we get as many views as possible we are currently expanding our approach to consultation and engagement. The existing routes will stay in place (i.e. residents associations, scheme contacts etc) and we will also add in a new range of consultation techniques including:
- Online surveys
- Telephone surveys
We will also be making better use of the information that residents give us in their day to day contacts with us. This will include using more information from the customer service centre, complaints processes etc. This is also a much more cost effective ways of gathering peoples views.
