Easter egg-stravaganza at nursing home
Chocoholics at aSanctuary Carehome in Ivybridge will enjoy an Easter egg hunt this week.
Tomorrow residents ofIvydene Nursing Home, which provides care for the elderly, including residential care,specialist nursingand respite care, will follow the clues to find eggs hidden in the home’s garden.
Activities leader Hayley Pillans, who will be suitably dressed in bunny ears, said: “This will be a great opportunity for our residents to bring their grandchildren along for a fun-filled family day.”
The home’s resident, Reverend Michael Bulman, will also lead Easter services at Ivydene throughout the week.
There will also be cake and craft stalls, a bunny treasure map, Easter egg raffle and hot cross buns.
The proceeds from the day will go to the residents’ activities fund.
