Local service offers -Your standards, our commitments
We want to make sure that we provide services that meet your needs and expectations. To do this, we aim to create a set of ‘service offers’, setting out the minimum levels of service you can expect from us. Your ideas and expectations will help shape these ‘offers’ so we really want you to get involved.
Between September and November 2010 we want to talk to you in more detail about your home, your neighbourhood and the ways you want to get involved with us. This follows our successful ‘Conversation with Sanctuary’ campaign last year when we gathered a lot of information about your expectations and priorities.
This stage of consultation is to make sure we have reflected your views properly. Your local housing team will send you information on events where you can get involved and have your say. Or, you can complete the Local offers & National Standards survey on our website.Everyone that completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to receive one of four £250 prizes. The prize draw will be announced in early December.Your feedback will help us to set local offers which will be agreed with the National Residents’ Forum and your local resident forum by 1st April 2011.
On 1st October 2010 we will be publishing our first annual report to tenants for your region. It will explain how we are performing against the six new national standards for social housing. Copies of this new report will be available on our website from 1st October. You can also request a copy by calling your local housing office or pick one up in any of our reception areas.
We will give you an update on our progress concerning the new service standards and local offers in a future issue.
