Ready, steady its the Westmead Olympics
There will be fun for all the family aSanctuary Care home’s mini Olympics event.
People from the Droitwich community are invited to limber up forWestmead Care Home’s Olympic-themed garden party on Wednesday 8 August, between 11.30am and 3pm.
Residents of the home, which provides care for the elderly, includingspecialist dementia care and residential care, have hand-decorated eggs for the egg and spoon race and there will also be bean bag throwing, boules and a relay.
Hungry athletes and spectators can tuck into hot dogs and chips and there will be fantastic prizes in the raffle.
Manager Sue Stokes said: “There has been such a buzz in the home as our team and residents have been preparing for this event and we are really looking forward to welcoming people from the community along to join us.”
