Sanctuary staff recognised for going the extra mile

David Bennett, Sanctuary’s Group Chief Executive, paid a visit to the Group’s Customer Service Centre in Hull last week to recognise the achievements of Sanctuary staff as part of National Customer Service Week.

National Customer Service Week is organised by the Institute of Customer Service and aims to promote good customer service and the vital role it plays within organisations.

The week provides the opportunity for organisations to hold a variety of fun events and celebrate outstanding levels of customer service.

Customer Services staff from leading housing and care provider Sanctuary Group marked the week with a dress in green day and various quizzes, before recognised team members were presented with their awards from David, including Caroline Eastaugh, customer service officer, who won the team’s prestigious Customer Service Champion 2010 award.

David Bennett said: “We position the customer at the heart of our business so I’m delighted to be able to reward the staff that go the extra mile in their contribution to excellent customer service.”
