A picture of Sanctuary Students wins award for booking experience

Sanctuary Students has won the Best Booking Experience accolade in the National Student Housing Awards.

Voted for by more than 30,000 students, the awards, run by Red Brick Research, celebrate the best of UK student accommodation.

Having been named as a finalist in June, the student accommodation provider has now picked up the award for achieving the best ratings for the Overall Booking Experience.

Sanctuary Students currently works with Kinetics Solutions to provide an interactive online booking system, allowing students to review detailed room information, select their required payment plan and provides options to make transactions to their account.

It also has a strong web-presence, including a fully-responsive website, online chat functionality and a user journey-led system.

To support its students’ ease of booking, Sanctuary does not take deposits from its direct let students who can secure their room for just £1.

Red Brick’s managing director Tim Daplyn commented: “Sanctuary Students has clearly demonstrated a long-term commitment to putting students at the heart of their decision-making. The structured way in which student feedback is fed into all aspects of strategy, operational management and staff appraisals is a case study for any organisation wanting to drive improvements to their business.

“I’m delighted that students themselves have recognised all their hard work through this award. Congratulations to everyone at Sanctuary Students.”

Sam McMillan, director of Sanctuary Students, said: “Winning this award really highlights that our booking processes and investment in our online systems is helping to improve our students’ experience. Knowing that it was the students that voted for us makes this award all the more special and my thanks go to the whole team involved.”
