Housing and care provider Sanctuary Group and leading regeneration specialist Galliford Try Partnerships are joining forces to build 375 new homes in Leamington Spa.

The two organisations are continuing the strategic partnership between Sanctuary and Galliford Try with the site at Europa Way in the Warwickshire town, which will include 150 affordable homes and 225 homes to be sold on the open market.

It is the fourth such agreement between Sanctuary and Galliford Try and means that almost 1,000 homes are being delivered through the joint venture partnership.

Sanctuary and Galliford Try are currently on-site building 251 new homes in Biddenham, Bedfordshire, a further 219 in Brampton, near Cambridge, and 135 in Greenwich.

Craig Moule, Group Chief Executive at Sanctuary, said: “Providing homes for those who need it is at the heart of our charitable social purpose.

“I am delighted that our joint venture with Galliford Try will provide so many high-quality affordable homes as well as employment opportunities in the Leamington Spa community.”

Stephen Teagle, Chief Executive of Galliford Try Partnerships, added: “As a partnerships-focused business we look to build and establish long-term relationships that deliver real value and change for our clients. I’m very pleased that we’ll be combining our expertise with Sanctuary Group again at Europa Way to deliver an outstanding development of new homes.”
