Sanctuary Group’s commitment to customer service has been recognised with a nomination in the 2019 West Midlands Finance Awards.

Worcester-based Sanctuary, a leading social housing and care provider, has been shortlisted in the Shared Service Centre of the Year at the prestigious awards.

The West Midlands Finance Awards, organised by specialist recruitment firm Robert Walters Group, celebrate the outstanding achievements and dedication of finance professionals and businesses across the region.

Nominees in the Shared Service Centre of the Year category are measured on the strength of their processes and people, with judges looking for examples of key delivery achievements and exemplary customer service.

Sanctuary’s Shared Service Centre was successfully established in 2016/2017 and provides a single point of contact for all HR, finance, IS and purchasing queries from staff across the business, as well as suppliers.

Jon Fellows, Sanctuary’s head of corporate shared services, said: “Our Shared Service Centre has been a real success, enabling us to offer efficient and coordinated services, based on actual demand and tailored to business need.

“We’re very proud to be nominated for this award and would like to thank the team working there and everyone involved in the development of the centre for their efforts in making this happen.

The winners of this year’s West Midlands Finance Awards will be revealed during a ceremony in Birmingham on 5 December.
