A picture of Sanctuary Care director named among sector’s most inspirational leaders

Sarah Clarke-Kuehn, Sanctuary’s Group Director – Care, has been named on a prestigious list of the care sector’s most influential leaders.

Sarah’s ‘inspirational’ leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic has been recognised in Care Home Professional’s Power List 2021.

The list celebrates leaders in the care sector who ‘make a positive difference to everyone around them with their attitude, commitment, positivity and expertise’.

Sarah is named in the Care Quality and Compliance category, which highlights those who have maintained ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Care Quality Commission (CQC) ratings across their homes, continually strive to make improvements and recognise quality as a step beyond compliance.

The report states: “Sarah Clarke-Kuehn is an inspirational leader who is committed to enriching the lives of residents. Throughout the last year Sarah has successfully ensured the continued delivery of high-quality care services to residents, despite the impact of Covid-19.”

It highlights Sarah’s commitment to ensuring safe visiting across Sanctuary Care’s homes and to protecting the physical and emotional wellbeing of all residents and employees.

Sarah said: “It’s been a challenging time for everyone in the sector, and I’m so proud of all our Sanctuary Care teams for their incredible work and dedication throughout the pandemic.

“Their continued commitment to enriching our residents’ lives is truly inspirational and I’d like to share this recognition with each and every one of them.”
