Sanctuary has a number of operations which successfully provide a diverse range of services across a group structure.

Sanctuary Housing

Sanctuary Housing provides a range of high-quality affordable homes and support services across England and Scotland, reflecting the needs and aspirations of our customers and delivering services at a competitive cost. Our portfolio of properties ranges from general needs housing, supported housing, shared ownership and housing for older people.

We are committed to having an ongoing conversation with all of our residents. We have a structure of resident involvement that places residents at the heart of shaping and scrutinising services through our National Resident Scrutiny Panel.

Sanctuary Supported Living

Sanctuary Supported Living delivers personalised care and support to a wide range of vulnerable people through supported housing, move-on accommodation, Care Quality Commission registered services, floating support and outreach support. We specialise in services for young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and people with mental health needs.

Sanctuary Retirement Living

Sanctuary Retirement Living properties are located across England with 29 purpose built or adapted services which provide housing for people aged over 55. They offer communities and apartments designed to provide a home for life.

We seek to offer a mixed community to older people who need different levels of care and also accommodate people under 55 with long-term care needs. Our properties come in all shapes and sizes; from those offering 80 apartments to those with 20. What remains the same is the high quality buildings and support services provided by our dedicated teams, who work in close partnership with residents, their families, carers, health professionals and commissioners, to create communities that residents are proud to live in.

Our Donside development in Scotland

Development is the building of new homes for sale and rent. The homes we sell will generate the surplus that will allow us to continue to deliver social housing to those who need it.

Sanctuary Homes will build and market any of our affordable and market rent, or grant funded, homes. Our ambition is for Sanctuary Homes to become the market leader in the provision of high quality shared ownership properties.

All homes sold by Sanctuary on the open market will be through Beech Grove Homes, which will be associated with prime sites, outstanding craftsmanship and elegant living.

Our commercial directorate includes managing a portfolio of market rent and commercial properties.
