Commitment to gender equality charter

Sanctuary Group has signed up to the Tech Talent Charter, a commitment to encourage gender diversity in the technology sector.

The signing sees Sanctuary join a host of national and international businesses and organisations in making a commitment to tackle gender imbalance in technology roles.

Only 17 per cent of technology workers in the UK are female and while women make up 33 per cent of Sanctuary’s technology workforce, by joining the Charter, Sanctuary is committing to support attraction, recruitment and retention practices to increase the diversity of its workplace.

Recruitment Agencies

At Sanctuary Group, we source candidates directly and we'll use a specified list of preferred suppliers to help support in sourcing candidates for particular roles when they are invited to do so.

We don't accept any speculative CVs from recruitment agencies or suppliers who are not part of our preferred supplier list, and we only pay agency fees where we have a signed agreement in place and that agency has been previously contacted and directed by a member of our recruitment team.

We do not pay agency fees when speculative and unsolicited CVs are submitted to Sanctuary Group or any of our employees other than via our defined recruitment process. If this is not adhered to, Sanctuary Group reserve the right to contact these candidates directly and have discussions with them without paying any agency fees.
