Two Sanctuary Group employees have been recognised for their achievements within the construction industry at a national event.

Jeya Greenfield and Gillian George were both presented with commendation certificates at the annual Women into Construction celebration in London.

The programme promotes gender equality and supports women into work placements within the construction industry.

Jeya, a Business Analyst for Sanctuary Maintenance based in Worcester, and Gillian, who is Assistant Head of Maintenance Operations in London, have both supported the programme by attending Women into Construction events across London, promoting careers and opportunities within Sanctuary Maintenance.

Jeya said: “It was great to receive the award and so inspiring to see how many women have found work through Women into Construction.”

She continued: “Being part of Women into Construction is an opportunity for me to meet new people and talk about what different pathways Sanctuary can offer. It has also provided me with opportunities to work more closely with different people within Sanctuary.

“I really enjoy being a part of it and I hope we can continue to provide support and opportunities to women who are interested in having a career in construction.”
