A picture of Sanctuary brings more affordable homes to Arbourthorne

Work on a development of 18 newly built affordable homes in Arbourthorne has now been completed.

Sanctuary Homes has delivered the development on Berners Road which provides a mixture of two-and-three-bedroom homes.

Homes on the £2.6m scheme, part funded by Homes England, are all available for affordable rent and have been built by Sanctuary’s contractor, energy and regeneration specialist ENGIE.

Helen Wright, Sanctuary’s Head of Development for the North & Midlands, commented: “We are pleased to have delivered these much-needed quality affordable homes in Arbourthorne.

“Our presence in Sheffield remains strong, and along with providing housing we have been able to use this project to deliver further benefits for the community.”

Nathan Brough, Regional Director for ENGIE’s Places & Communities division, said: “This development will help tackle the need for affordable housing in the area.

“I am delighted with the outcome of this scheme. The homes are built to a high standard and will be enjoyed by families for many years to come. We are proud to work alongside Sanctuary to make a difference for local people.”
